The Bodley Bestiary is a medieval manuscript illuminated in Southern England around 1225–50. This beautiful mini Bodleian Libraries calendar features 12 incredible illustrations of animals and birds, real or legendary, which were used to draw out moral and religious lessons from the accompanying stories.
