Ting Yang is a visual artist using cyanotype, photography, and mixed media processes on paper, textiles, and stone. Her work seamlessly blends the art of flower arrangement with the ethereal beauty of photography, creating compositions that honor both nature and heritage.
Beneath the shimmering sky, the Little Prince and the Fox share a quiet conversation under the stars. This piece captures a moment of stillness-where hearts can rest, words are few, and nature speaks in color and light.
In The Little Prince, the fox teaches the prince one of life’s most profound lessons: the beauty of connection and the responsibility that comes with love. "You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed," the fox says, reminding us that true relationships take time, patience, and care-just like nurturing a flower to bloom.
As adults, this story feels even more meaningful to me. It reminds us to slow down, cherish the people and moments that touch our hearts, and see the world with childlike curiosity.
This artwork features pressed flowers. Each piece is crafted by hand using real flowers, carefully collected and pressed throughout the seasons. The process of drying the flowers requires time and patience. Once dried, the flowers are meticulously arranged, adhered, cleaned, and sealed within frames.
