Laura Culic’s encaustic paintings, although abstract, are inspired by the Canadian landscape and based on maps, navigation, history and the natural world.

Laura paints full time in her Toronto studio, and is represented by galleries in Toronto, Ottawa, Oakville, Hamilton and Edmonton. Laura’s work is part of many private and corporate collections, as well as the Art Collection of the Government of Ontario. She has been the recipient of an Ontario Arts Council Grant, and in 2012 Laura was awarded Best in Show at the Ontario Society of Artists Open Juried exhibition and Best in Painting at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition.
