Jahn Page
Jahn Page is a multi-disciplinary contemporary artist from Richmond, Virginia, currently living in Hamilton, ON.
Having spent the past decade as a commercial artist in Toronto's hospitality industry, Page's commercial portfolio spans sculpture, painting and drawing with concentrations in compositional wheat paste, traditional portraiture and large-scale relief sculpture. His breadth of painting styles – from abstracted canvases of gestural forms to intimate still-life arrangements completed with traditional oil painting techniques - demonstrates his wide array of subject interest and integrative approach to medium.
In March of 2020, Page opened Good Grief Studio to further pursue his exploratory ideas that blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture and art and design.
Jahn Page lives with his wife and daughter – both of whom are major influences in his artistic practice and current body of work.
