Katie Bond Pretti is presently a graduate student in OCADU’s Contemporary Art, Design & New Media Art Histories MA program and a practicing visual artist. Having created and exhibited her abstract figurative drawings and paintings for 19 years, in 13 cities, over 3 continents, she still considers the land presently called Toronto home.

Adjacent to her visual and academic practices, Pretti’s first publication, Sonority of Words, was launched in Toronto by Art Metropole, featured at the NYC Art Book Fair, and added to the Artists’ Books Library at the National Gallery of Canada; she teaches a Visual Expression Workshop for creatives; and she is writing her first novel.
