Eileen Reilly is a Toronto-born contemporary photographer who moved to Hamilton in 2017. She pursued a career in photography full-time in 2015 and has been working since, capturing various aspects of the Hamilton scene and landscape. In speaking of her works, Reilly states:
“All of these works have been printed on metal in an ode to Hamilton’s industry. Industry is also the word to be used for the passion of the city’s people for Hamilton that leads them to projects in neighbourhoods to municipal chang¬es and development.”
Reilly received her MA in Art History from University of Toronto in 1998. She has exhibited in a number of galleries in Toronto and Hamilton, and has had her work displayed at the Hamilton Public Library Turner Park and Central branches.
