Dianne Brown-Green is an award winning artist whose works reflect her Indigenous cultural background. Through bold colour and strong graphic forms, she paints from her inner spirit and seeks to convey her visions and interpretations on canvas so that they may be shared with others.
In her own words:
“I love to reflect on [my works], and sharing [them] with people allows me to take them on that journey - from the moment an image is born in my mind to its completion. To experience that environment, that special place, and that thought that first captured my imagination. To relive that experience and share the euphoric state of mind the image instills.”
Brown-Green is a graduate from OCAD University in Toronto, ON. Her works have been presented in numerous exhibitions and events in Ontario and more widely in Alberta and Quebec. Brown-Green’s paintings are held in numerous private and corporate collections across Canada and internationally in the United States, Australia, and the Netherlands.
