Christopher Masoure

Christopher Masoure is a contemporary painter born in Toronto, Ontario. Born into an artistic family, Masoure began painting at a young age, following in his father’s footsteps, and was later educated in Fine Arts at the Art Institute of America.

Upon his return to Toronto, Masoure began a career in Sales and Marketing and continued to paint. His early work consisted of mainly abstracts but has more recently evolved into abstract landscapes. Many layers of paint applied with palette knives and brushes create a soothing atmospheric finish that invites the viewer to navigate and discover.

Masoure became a full-time artist in 2008, and has exhibited his work at various venues, including The Artist Project Toronto, Queen West Art Crawl, Ottawa Art Expo, Motyka Fine Arts, Toronto Art Expo, Oakville Art in the Park, and Riverdale Art Walk.
